Bise1. (n.) A pale blue pigment, prepared from the native blue carbonate of copper, or from smalt; -- called also blue bice.
2. (n.) A cold north wind which prevails on the northern coasts of the Mediterranean and in Switzerland, etc.; -- nearly the same as the mistral.
